Strathroy resident Connie Libby has been named the winner of Seasons Retirement Communities’ Remarkable Resident program.
This program acknowledges exceptional community contributions and life accomplishments.
Connie received one month’s free rent and a $10,000 donation for her charity of choice.
Connie chose to donate the money to the Malignant Hyperthermia Investigation Unit.
The Remarkable Resident program is in its eleventh year.
Connie’s life journey includes surviving a rare genetic disease, raising a large family, supporting her husband through health challenges, and becoming a Special Education Resource Teacher.
Despite facing multiple health conditions, Connie remains an active advocate for Malignant Hyperthermia research.
The donation will further support this crucial medical research.
