The North Middlesex Historical Society is the myFM Ricco Foods Community Partner for the month of September.
Rachel Ansems and Lauren Boertien, both summer students at the Historical Society expressed how happy they are to be recognised as the September Community Partner.
The North Middlesex Historical Society is a completely volunteer run organization, Ansems says without volunteers to help, the society wouldn’t be able to do what they do.
The society also runs two locations, the Donald Hughes Annex Museum and the Marg & Leroy Walker Research Room, both in Ailsa Craig.
The two locations house a wide variety of displays according to Boertien.
Ansems says that for the month of September, the society has a wide range of events planned.
She also added the society also has a Hall of Fame dedicated to people who have made a change.
