
Progress towards the development of a new, versatile recreational facility in Mount Brydges keeps moving forward as this week at Strathroy-Caradoc Council, a tender for the soil testing was approved for the area of 565 Lions Park Drive.
This site development encompasses various aspects, including but not limited to Geotechnical analysis, Site Survey, Soil examination, Site Servicing, and Designated Substance Surveys for both the Caradoc Community Centre and the Tri-Township Arena.
The town received just one bid and Council approved the tender to PINCHIN and the cost falls within the $500,000 available for the pre-work of the new complex. Site testing details can be found on our website.
The site investigation testing will consist of the following:
1. Site Survey: Include a topographical and site servicing survey for the parcel, including 10m outside of the parcel onto Lions Park Drive.
2. Phase 1 Environmental Assessment of the identified parcel
3. Geotechnical Report – please include analysis and recommendations on infiltration potential.
