Health Canada on Friday issued a food recall warning on Springwater Packers brand Mild Pepperonistix due to possible Listeria contamination. The product is produced by Springwater Meats in the Aylmer area. The affected product is the 450-gram size, packaged on June 21 of this year. This recall was triggered by test results and there have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of this product. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to where they were purchased.
