The Wright Family Foundation is auctioning off Rumours Bar and Grill contents. Treasurer of the Foundation Frank Kennes says that the auction will run completely online.
During the online auction there will be a wide variety of items up for grabs, almost everything in building is for sale.
All the money raised from the auction will be going back into the building for renovations of the new “Wright Place”, a downtown Arts Centre on Front Street, with renovations starting on the new arts centre in 2024.
The Foundation will be reaching out to the public at some point to see what they would like to see in the arts centre and from there the foundation will make a decision on what will be included.
There will be an Open House today from 10-1pm for the public to check out the building and see what’s up for grabs at the auction.
