Elyssa Rose from Kettle and Stony First Nation is the new Executive Director at the Women’s Rural Resource Centre in Strathroy. Rose says her Indigenous background has taught her many lessons and skills, including the importance of relationships, which she hopes to bring as part of her leadership role at the Centre.
She says the Centre does good work for the community.
