If you are looking for some fun Halloween activities for the kids, Strathroy is hosting Spooky Saturday, taking place Saturday from 4-7pm at the Fairgrounds Recreation Complex. Kait Topham, Booking and Events Coordinator for Strathroy-Caradoc says they have a fun lineup of events planned for the day.
Topham says the idea to host the event on a weekend came from her own family.
Also planned for the day is two food trucks and an ice cream truck. No pre-registration is required, just show up in costume and have fun. The municipality will be accepting donations of school snacks, which will go to Youth Opportunities Unlimited.
