In an update at a recent Middlesex County Council meeting, County Library staff highlighted several achievements and advancements for 2023. Through collaboration with the County of Middlesex Social Services department and with provincial funding from the Social Services Relief Fund, the library introduced 4 Quiet Meeting Pods at the Ailsa Craig, Komoka, Strathroy, and Thorndale Branches.
Additionally, this year, they unveiled a new online library catalog and discovery layer on their website, featuring an innovative system that blends accessibility and modern data standards, as Middlesex County is now the host of eight storytelling trails under the Tales & Trails initiative.
