This past weekend, a vigil organized by Coven House Tattoo in Strathroy was held to honour Cory Adams, a distinctive figure in a small town due to his heavily tattooed face, tattoo artists found themselves unexpectedly occupied.
The 37-year-old tragically lost his life on October 28th after being struck by a vehicle while cycling to a nearby motel in Strathroy. Friends gathered Saturday night, mourning his loss as tattoo artists offered attendees RIP Cory tattoos.
Around 50 people joined together in solidarity Saturday night holding candles outside the tattoo shop to honor Adams. By the vigil’s conclusion, 16 individuals had received RIP Cory tattoos.
Tanya Griffin, owner of Coven House Tattoo, had also gathered donations of approximately 60 coats, 40 pairs of boots, 100 hoodies, and $500 in cash by Saturday evening to contribute in memory of Adams.
