The Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department received 234 combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms as part of Enbridge Gas’ Safe Community Project Zero on Monday. Ania Bialecki, Operations Supervisor at Enbridge Gas explains Project Zero.
Fire Prevention Officer Don McLean, says they are honoured to have been chosen as one of the fire stations to receive the alarms.
Mclean says the fire alarms will be given to those in need of them when their crews are called to a scene. Over the past 15 years, Project Zero has provided more than 86,000 working alarms to Ontario fire departments.
