Christmas is getting closer and with that the Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department and myFM News want all families to be safe this holiday season. The 12 Days of Holiday Fire and CO Safety tips is wrapping up today with day #12 where we are talking about being aware of lithium-ion batteries especially during the charging process according to Fire Prevention Officer Don McLean.
McLean says receiving a new toy or device at Christmas can be exciting but if they have lithium-ion batteries, they can also add potential risk to your home.
