Drainage Superintendent Andrew Neely delivered an overview, reminding the council that they had previously approved the reconstruction request for the Richardson Earley Drain during the October 2nd meeting. In alignment with that decision, the council had directed staff to adhere to the procurement policy and enlist the services of a drainage engineer.
The outcomes of a Request For Quote from the Township revealed that R. Dobbin Engineering Inc. submitted a quote of $40,500, Spriet Associates proposed $41,950, and M. Gerrits Consulting Inc. did not submit a quote. Neely recommended that the council accept the proposal from R. Dobbin Engineering Inc. at a cost of $40,500. The decision was carried, with the council favoring the appointment of R. Dobbin Engineering Inc.
