Great success for a local curler. From February 8th to the 11th, Strathroy’s Hailey Brittain competed in the OCAA (Ontario College Athletic Association) Championships with her teammates from Humber. All three teams were very successful at this Championship with the Women’s team earning the gold medal and the Men’s and mixed doubles teams taking home the silver.
There is no national competition as of yet for mixed doubles, but the men’s and women’s teams both move on to the CCAA National Championships being held in Fredericton from March 12th to 16th. Good luck to Hailey and her amazing teammates as they battle to bring home the National Gold for Humber College and Ontario.
