A 36-year-old Peterborough man has been charged following an investigation into a single-vehicle crash.
At around 12:45am on Saturday, Northumberland OPP responded to a report of a passenger vehicle colliding into a residence on Front Street North in Campbellford.
Following a conversation with the G1 driver, police initiated an impaired operation investigation, leading to his arrest and further testing at the detachment. Further investigation revealed that the accused did not have permission to use the vehicle.
As a result, the man is facing a slew of charges as well as their license being suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle impounded for 45.
