Do you know all the rules when riding an off-road vehicle?
With the nicer weather coming, Strathroy-Caradoc police are reminding ORV riders that they are subject to several provincial laws…and Police will be conducting initiatives in the spring and summer to educate riders.
Laws include having to wear a helmet when leaving their own property, having insurance and permission to ride on private property and following all rules of the road.
One trouble spot police are aware of is the area of Falconbridge Drive near Melbourne Road where ORV riders are unlawfully using private properties.
