Cathy Burghardt-Jesson, the Liberal party candidate for the vacant MPP seat in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex has set up a new office in downtown Strathroy that officially opened to the public on Saturday afternoon. Burghardt-Jesson is currently the Mayor of Lucan-Biddulph, but is throwing her name in the ring for her chance to represent Lambton-Kent-Middlesex at Queen’s Park. She says Strathroy was the best place of those looked at in order to set up shop for her campaign.
While the Strathroy office just opened to the public, Burghardt-Jesson is already looking to the future and seeing what other communities she can expand to.
She says while she may not always be in the Strathroy office, there will always be volunteers present to help answer any questions voters may have.
Burghardt-Jesson is hoping residents of Strathroy-Caradoc and surrounding communities will stop by the office, and allow her to introduce herself.
According to Burghardt-Jesson the office in downtown Strathroy at 77 Front Street will be open Monday through Saturday 9am to 7pm, however those hours are subject to change based on the amount of volunteers available. If you are looking to get in contact with Cathy Burghardt-Jesson, email info@votecathy.ca or call the office at (519) 645-7359.
