Junior B hockey playoff action starts tomorrow for the Strathroy Rockets as for the first time in many years they will have home ice advantage in the opening round and are set to take on the 6th seeded St. Thomas Stars. Rockets Head Coach, Jason Williams says he is very pleased with everyone who played for the team this year.
It should be a good series as the teams split their regular season series 3-3 and Williams says anyone can win during playoffs.
Over the past three seasons, the Rockets have definetely progressed going from only 32 regular season points and an 8th seed in the 2021-22 season to an impressive 71 points and 3rd seed this year. If you can’t make any of the Rockets home games, you can still catch all the action on myFM St. Thomas 94.1fm for games 1, 3, 5 and 7.
