Strathroy-Caradoc Council has given the green light to its Fire Department to extend its Limited Medical Tiered Response Agreement with the Middlesex-London Paramedic Service. Initially tasked by the Council to initiate talks with the Paramedic service for this expansion, the Fire Department has now gained approval to broaden the agreement’s scope. Under this expansion, both Station 1 Strathroy and Station 2 Mount Brydges will be incorporated into the limited response agreement, which initially only encompassed Station 3 Melbourne. With this enhancement, all three stations are now empowered to intervene in specific medical emergencies, as outlined in the agreement, thereby contributing to early intervention and improved patient outcomes.
