
On Saturday, Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Sport Neil Lumsden, joined Adelaide Metcalfe Townhsip Mayor Sue Clarke at Kerwood Park as funding was announced for $150,000 by the Ontario government to rejuvenate the park’s aging lighting infrastructure. Minister Lumsden emphasized the significance of Kerwood Park to the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe, highlighting its role as a crucial community space offering sports and recreational activities that foster healthy lifestyles and social engagement.
The funding will go to facilitate the installation of modern, eco-friendly lighting at Kerwood Park, eventually hoping to extend the park’s operational hours, enhance safety for residents, promote active living, and bolster overall community well-being. More on our website.
