Small and medium-sized enterprises across Canada are poised to benefit from approximately five years’ worth of carbon rebates, courtesy of the federal budget. Despite political pressures, the Liberals remain committed to their carbon pricing framework, allocating $2.5 billion in rebates.
Over 600,000 businesses are slated to receive these rebates in the form of a refundable tax credit later this year, contingent upon filing their 2023 tax returns by mid-July.
