There will be a Meditation Club meeting tonight at the Mount Brydges Library starting at 6:30pm tonight. Studies show that the effects of meditation while in a group more powerful than meditating alone. Strengthen your existing practice with like minded individuals. Session will start with open group discussion about general meditation experiences, followed by a guided group meditation. Format of meditation will vary each week. Recommended for people with some previous meditation experience.
Get ready for Internet Safety and our Children tomorrow at the Delaware Community Centre, on Gideon Drive starting at 7pm. Free event about internet safety sponsored by Delaware Lioness. Meet the award winning, internationally known producer and director, Dr. Charlene Doak-Gebauer, of the film Vulnerable Innocence. This online child safety expert will provide parents and caregivers with strategies they can use to help protect children as they navigate the digital online world. At the Middlesex County Library in Parkhill there will be a Free drop-in program for families with children 0-6 years old from 9am-11am tomorrow. Each Play & Learn program will offer a play-based learning opportunity in one of the indoor library program spaces. Activities planned by EarlyON facilitators encourage positive parent and child interaction and inspire play and learning!
