The early voter turnout for the by-election in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex fell short compared to the 2022 general election. Advance polls were open from April 21 to April 26, with initial figures from Elections Ontario revealing that 4,976 voters participated in early voting, contrasting with 9,820 in 2022. However, there are still opportunities to cast ballots before election day. Voters can visit Amy’s Restaurant on Centre Road in Strathroy along with other neighbouring communities like Glencoe and Ilderton. Election day is Thursday and voters are reminded to bring their voter information card and a piece of identification. Those without a voter information card can still vote with one piece of ID containing their name and current home address.
