  • Get ready for this years Home, Garden a Leisure Show at the Gemini Sportsplex, on May 25th, hosted by 105.7 myFM and presented by Sutton Wolf Realty!   • HOMETOWN FESTIVAL CONCERT TICKETS ON SALE NOW! **CASH ONLY** At myFM Radio 85 Zimmerman Ave, until June 14. WEEKDAYS 9-NOON (closed May  29-31). Friday night – $10. Saturday night – $25. Weekend Pass – $30
  • At the Middlesex County Library in Parkhill there will be a Free drop-in program for families with children 0-6 years old from 9am-11am today. Each Play & Learn program will offer a play-based learning opportunity in one of the indoor library program spaces. Activities planned by EarlyON facilitators encourage positive parent and child interaction and inspire play and learning

 

  • Stitch n’ Chat is set to go at the Komoka Library today starting at 1pm. An informal, fun afternoon for those who love to knit, crochet or enjoy any other needle craft.
  • Get ready for Crafternoon today starting at 4pm at the Komoka Library. The craft each week will be a surprise! Come into the branch to test your creativity.
  • The After School Club is set to meet today at the Glencoe Library from 4-5pm. Join Wednesdays after school for snacks and STEAM-centric activities, art, challenges and more!
  • Crafty Wednesday is set to 6pm today at the Alisa Craig Library. Join Meghan every Wednesday evening for a different craft project. Supplies provided, but bring your creativity!
  • Knitting and Crochet Circle event is set to go today at the Strathroy Library from 6:30-7:30pm. The circle offers patrons of all abilities and ages a chance to meet, knit and crochet in a social setting. Drop in with your current project and share your expertise or learn a new skill.

 

  • Get ready for Strathroy-Caradoc Cruisers – 25th Season Wednesday Weekly Cruise Night today. Come on out to the Strathroy-Caradoc Cruisers – 25th Season Wednesday Weekly Cruise Night at the Canadian Tire in Strathroy and enjoy checking out some great cars and chat with the owners, starting at 5pm.

 

  • 2024 Hometown Festival SR Karaoke Idol Qualifiers are set to go today at the Duke. The 2024 Strathroy Hometown Festival Karaoke Idol Senior Idol. Wednesdays May 22, 29. Registration at 6pm – singing starts at 7pm. Entrants must be 19 years or older for Senior Idol. Entrants will sing one song they have chosen from the selection available at http://songbookslive.com look up Martini Mama’s Entertainment

  • Helping Hands Lunches compliments of SSVP will be served tomorrow starting at 11:30am at All Saints Parish in Strathroy.
  • The Cool After School is set to meet tomorrow at the Ilderton Library at 4pm. Come in and be creative after school every Thursday from 4:00pm – 5:00pm.
  • Ladies Auxillary Lunches are set to go tomorrow at the Royal Canadian Legion, starting at 11am.
  • Get ready for Legion Bingo tomorrow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Strathroy starting at 1pm.
 
In local Sports:
The London Knights are headed to the 2024 Memorial Cup and look to bring it back to the Forest City for the first time since 2024. We wish all the players including locals Evan Van Gorp, Easton Cowan, and Noah Jenken the best of luck!
