This week is Paramedic Services Week and it’s your chance to get to know more about the life saving services they offer. Paramedics Chief Susan Brown tells us they’re hoping to make a lasting connection with the are’as youngest citizens.
The theme for this year is “Help Us, Help You,” which looks to ensure that every shift worked is a safe shift. It’s an opportunity to highlight the many ways that paramedic services help people, from the provision of emergency care for those critically ill and injured to the more contemporary role of paramedic services as part of a greater health system. Paramedic Services Week is running through May 25th.
