Strathroy-Caradoc’s Mayor says he and council will be doing their part to try to help with mental health services in the region. We told you last week CMHA Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services badly needs increased funding to maintain service levels, sitting on a 2.6 Million dollar deficit. Colin Grantham says he can’t think of a more important issue.
Grantham says he’ll be reaching out to some individuals to discuss this topic including CMHA Thames Valley CEO Pam Tobin.
It’s feared if the agency doesn’t get a boost from Ontario Health, 30 full-time jobs could be on the line.
