A Strathroy mom and her daughter are sharing their story ahead of Miracle Treat day at Dairy Queen, (August 8th) raising funds for Children’s Hospital in London.
Lexi McCullough, who’s now 11, was born 3 months early by emergency C-section and was whisked off to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital.
Her mom Nicole says she spent 109 days in NIC-U battling numerous complications and they weren’t sure she was going to make it.
Nicole says she couldn’t be more proud of her daughter.
Lexi hopes everyone heads to Dairy Queen for Miracle Treat Day.
Over the last 33 years, Dairy Queen has raised over $2.1 Million for programs, research, education, and equipment at Children’s Hospital in London.
