Recently on an episode of My Haunted Hometown, the community of Strathroy was featured. The episode itself featured multiple paranormal experts, a few local residents and local business owners and focused on strange happenings and occurrences that took place in their presence. The show also centered around the core of Strathroy as being potentially haunted for hundreds of years and with a dark past plagued by fires, train wrecks, and serial killers.
According to the show, between 1959 and 1984, 29 people were murdered by serial killers in Strathroy and surrounding area. The experts believe Strathroy could be experiencing paranormal looping which is a phenomenon replaying emotional moments in time on repeat. One of the residents featured was Karl Olsen who lives on Frank Street and saw something happen one day with his beloved cat.
Olsen went on to say that the story grew once he took it to social media.
Olsen told myFM he truly believes the town core especially is absolutely haunted.
Unfortunately he won’t be watching the episode any time soon. The episode also featured his girlfriend and precious pet cat who have both passed since the filming of the episode.
