A cherished City of Kawartha Lakes tradition that pre-dates Confederation returns September 14th in the form of the Lindsay Exhibition.
The 170th edition of the annual Lindsay Agricultural Society fair continues until September 22nd, offering farm animal shows and competitions, a truck and tractor pull, midway rides and special events entertainment for the entire family. The full schedule of what’s going on and ticket information can be found on their website.
Exhibition general manager Shanice Sproule says the fair’s long history is at the heart of its enduring popularity and is a point of pride for organizers.
Sproule says maintaining longtime exhibition events and attractions while presenting new features is a balancing act.
With thousands of visitors again expected, Sproule says the Lindsay Exhibition continues to provide major economic benefits to Lindsay and surrounding area.
Following the exhibition, Lindsay will play host to the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo from October 1st to 5th.
