Our local Junior Hockey tour begins today in North Middlesex with the Stars of the Provincial Junior C League who have had some successful years of late winning their conference championship two years ago and making it to the final eight in the province. General Manager and Head Coach Kory Green who has only been with the club a few years says when he came in, all he saw was a professional organization.
Green says over the off-season they did have some holes to fill this year.
As far as content of the roster, Green says they believe in being local.
Recently, the PJHL announced they would have streaming of all games for all 63 franchises and Green says that’s a benefit to families and to teams.
He adds if you come out to watch the team this season, you won’t be disappointed.
North Middlesex has there home opener Saturday at 8pm versus Petrolia at the North Middlesex Arena.
