An update now from the police chase story in Strathroy. OPP with assistance from Strathroy-Caradoc Police found the outstanding 23-year-old Dylan Booth on Wednesday in St. Thomas. He was arrested and transported to Strathroy without further issue and charged with multiple offences including assaulting a peace officer, dangerous operation of a vehicle and failing to comply with a release order. He is to be held in custody for a bail hearing today.
On Saturday night, Police discovered a stolen vehicle parked on Head Street. Two men, known to police, were seen entering the vehicle. When officers attempted to stop and contain the vehicle, the driver reversed at high speed, hitting a police cruiser and pushing it backward to escape. Eventually a second suspect was later apprehended near Glendon Drive and Komoka Road.
