Strathroy-Caradoc is going after some federal and provincial money for a pair of local arenas. Mayor Colin Grantham on this week’s edition of Minute With The Mayor on myFM said two different grants are available.
Grantham says both facilities have specific repairs and upgrades that are needed.
The Mayor says in regards to the Tri-Township arena, that the focus is keeping that facility going for quite a few more years.
Grantham had this to say to residents in Mount Brydges who might not be happy a new arena is not in the cards for at least a decade.
No word yet on when we might hear back from both levels of government.
