The City of Peterborough’s annual Heritage Hunt is now underway, offering a fun way to test knowledge of George Street’s architecture and heritage features.
Organized by the Peterborough Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee, the contest invites participants to identify 35 architectural details on buildings along George Street North, from Parkhill Road West to King Street. All details can be viewed from the sidewalk.
Prizes will be awarded for identifying the most correct details, with three bonus clues available for extra points.
Participants can access a mobile-friendly form and map on the City’s website or pick up a booklet at locations like City Hall, the Peterborough Museum & Archives, and the Art Gallery of Peterborough.
Residents have until November 29th to submit their entries.
