They’re starting to get nervous at the Middlesex Hospital Alliance which oversees the hospitals in Strathroy as well as Four Counties in Newbury. The ongoing postal strike is bad news for the two hospital foundations in particular, which help support the buying of equipment at the hospitals. President and CEO of MHA and CEO of the Strathroy Hospital Foundation Julie McBrien tells myFM they’re getting quite concerned.
Both foundations mail out appeals this time of year to seek donations and they’re not able to do that right now. McBrien asks people to donate online if they’d like to help out the foundations at this pivotal point of the year. There’s much more information on the Foundation website.
