The Middlesex London Health Unit has declared an outbreak of COVID 19 in the One South Medical Unit at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital.
There’s been a recent increase in respiratory virus transmission across the region, and the hospital says it has identified two potential patient transmissions of COVID.
The Middlesex Health Alliance is working closely with the Health Unit to ensure all appropriate measures are in place.
The unit is still accepting admissions and visitors, however masks are required by ALL MHA staff, physicians, and visitors at all times while on 1 South.
