An update for you now from the OPP and a story myFM ran earlier in the week about a snowmobile collision that sent two individuals to hospital in Southwest Middlesex. On Saturday, February 1, OPP, Middlesex London EMS, and Southwest Middlesex fire were dispatched to an address on Longwoods Road for a single snowmobile collision on private property. As a result of the collision, the driver was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a 57-year-old of Southwest Middlesex, has since died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. The passenger was also transported to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing.
