A woman at the center of a high-profile sexual assault case involving five former members of Canada’s world junior hockey team is expected to resume her testimony in court today.
The woman, whose identity is protected by a publication ban, previously told the court that she was intoxicated and disoriented during a night out in London, Ontario, on June 18, 2018, when she first met some of the accused at a bar.
She said she drank two alcoholic beverages at home before joining coworkers at Jack’s bar, where she consumed at least eight shots, a beer, and a vodka soda over the course of the evening.
Michael McLeod, Carter Hart, Alex Formenton, Dillon Dube, and Callan Foote have all entered pleas of not guilty to the charge of sexual assault.
