Hydro One has announced the selected route for a new transmission line…and it will end here in Strathroy. The 120-kilometer route will begin at the Lakeshore Transformer Station, just outside Comber, before crossing the 401 west of Tilbury, following the Thames River through Chatham…going through Glencoe and ending in Strathroy.
Hydro One will now begin the process of contacting all the impacted landowners to purchase the property they need for the towers…and in our region, an open house will be held in Glencoe June 12th for interested residents.
