One of the highlights of the Strathroy Hometown Festival each year is the Bike Rodeo put on by Doug and Marion’s Bike Sales and Repairs along with Mainstreet Credit Union. This year marks the 17th edition and it’s an event that has always focused on teaching kids about bike safety first and foremost but it’s also a lot of fun. Bike shop owner Marion Smith tells us about some very important rules for this year.
If you are one of the first 35 participants to pre-register at Mainstreet Credit Union by this Thursday June 5th you’ll be entered into a draw for some fantastic stuff. 35 being the number because Doug and Marion’s is celebrating 35 years in business this year. This year there are multiple age categories.
They will have some lawn games and more for the kids.
Registration on June 14th in Alexandra Park is at 8:30am with the rodeo starting at 8:45 with the theme for decorated bikes being Planes Trains and Automobiles this year.
