Friday was a big day in Strathroy, as hometown boy, Memorial Cup Champion Easton Cowan dedicated a few hours to supporters and fans alike at Caradoc Sands for a meet and greet. Hundreds of fans lined up for a photo, and autographs from the Toronto Maple Leafs draft pick along side the Memorial Cup trophy in addition to the OHL Cup and Memorial Cup MVP trophy that were also on hand. Cowan sat down with myFM before the event began and spoke to his last season as a London Knight, a season he will never ever forget.
The line up of fans was huge before the event even started and Cowan felt blessed to have such support in his hometown. 
Moving forward, he says he will enjoy a bit of the golf season, one of his other passions, with the big picture of his career never leaving his sight.
