Years ago, the communities of Delaware, Komoka and Mount Brydges decided to hold just one, big Canada Day celebration each year, with each community hosting every 3 years.
This year, the celebration is on Tuesday, in Delaware, starting at 7:30am.
Jim Deslippe is on the DelKoBrydge Canada Day Committee.
The Canada Day parade starts at 10 at the parking lot of Riverbend Academy, ending at the Community Centre.
Fireworks will cap off the night.
The fireworks, and all events, will be held at the Delaware Community Centre on Gideon Drive.
Deslippe says putting on the Canada Day celebrations is a huge job and he’d like to thank the whole committee for the work they do.
Next year, the Canada Day celebrations will be in Mount Brydges.
