On July 10th, Lambton OPP in partnership with the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) and Sarnia Police Service, conducted a joint forces traffic safety initiative focused on commercial motor vehicles. The operation aimed to ensure compliance with traffic laws, promote safer roadways, and identify unsafe drivers and vehicles.
These collaborative efforts help reduce the risk of collisions and reinforce the importance of following Ontario’s traffic regulations. Throughout the initiative, officers carried out 19 commercial motor vehicle inspections. As a result, 22 charges were laid for various violations.
