Ozzy Osbourne, lead singer of heavy metal band Black Sabbath, has died at the age of 76. His family says he passed away peacefully at home, with his loved ones by his side.
Just two weeks before his death, Ozzy performed one last concert with Black Sabbath in his hometown of Birmingham, England. The concert took place at Villa Park stadium in front of 40,000 fans and was watched by many more online. The show also helped raise £140 million for charity and featured famous guest performers like Billy Corgan and Steven Tyler.
Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019. A special concert film celebrating his life and the music of Black Sabbath is expected to be released in 2026.
