Seasons Strathroy Retirement Community has made a generous donation of 1,007 canned goods to the Ailsa Craig and Area Food Bank as part of its annual “One Can Make a Difference” campaign. Held from July 3 to 14, the initiative challenged Seasons communities across Canada to collect non-perishable food items for their local food banks.
Retirement communities from Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia participated, surpassing the collective goal of 8,000 cans with a total of 8,527 items donated. In addition, $50,400 was contributed to food bank partners nationwide. Since launching its partnership with local food banks in 2016, Seasons Retirement Communities has contributed more than $350,000 in food and financial support to organizations addressing hunger in their communities.
