As myFM reported to you last week, the situation surrounding the Mount Brydges Wastewater Treatment Facility is becoming more and more serious. With a rescheduled council workshop now for August 25th, that puts it 7 days before a Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks deadline of the end of August for the town to communicate its plans for the facility.
Mayor Colin Grantham agrees it is now a tight timeline.
The Municipality has been out of compliance for seven years in regards to the Mount Brydges treatment centre and
Grantham says rescheduling the original workshop date of July 28th was a good move by council.
He adds the bottom line is that a choice needs to be made.
