The 105.7 myFM and Akko Limited Cement Finishers All Hands on Deck Food Drive is returning to Strathroy-Caradoc and Forest on Thursday, August 21st from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m! Community members are encouraged to stop by one of five locations to donate: Real Canadian Superstore, Shoppers Drug Mart, Food Basics, Giant Tiger, or Foodland in Forest.
Last year’s event was a huge success! Donations filled a school bus, a box truck, a box trailer, two pickup trucks, and two SUVs. Almost $2,500 in cash and gift cards were collected, along with enough school supplies to help 125 children.
This year, we hope to do even better! With help from the community, the goal is to make sure no child starts the school year worried about where their next meal will come from. Every can, every dollar, and every school supply makes a difference!
