A Rural Family Block Party will be held in Alexandra Park this Saturday. What’s it all about? Elyssa Rose, the Executive Director of the Women’s Rural Resource Centre explains.
Rose says making the event informative but also fun for families was essential.
She tells us more about who will be there and events planned during the Block Party.
Rose says the event is all about connection, awareness, resource sharing and prevention – but most of all, it’s about coming together and having fun. The hours Saturday are from 10am until 3pm and the event is free for everyone.
