A well-known Strathroy woman has just wrapped up a mini triathlon raising money to mark a milestone anniversary. Nancy Powers popped into the myFM studio to share this update.
Nancy completed the mini-triathlon on Sunday August 31st.
We asked Nancy how she raised so much money.
Nancy has been raising money for the Terry Fox run for years now starting when she worked in Brighton in 2000 and shaved her head for the cause. Over $86,000 has been raised in the Strathroy area since 1996. Nancy tells us has big plans for the 50th Anniversary of the Marathon of Hope, which we’ll share next week!
