Your Money, Your Community this week is brought to you by Kylie Beattie, Owner and Broker with Pierson Insurance here in Strathroy. Kylie moved her family here from Guelph in 2008, looking for a smaller, safer place to raise them.
She started in the industry in administration then got her license during Covid and after working briefly with Desjardin, branched out on her own, starting Pierson Insurance.
Kylie tells us she finds things like life insurance are misunderstood. She says it’s something that you can use and leverage all your life, even for children. You can purchase a life insurance policy for children as young as 30 days old.
Her best advice is to purchase life insurance early, before it becomes expensive. Kylie is happy to chat with anyone about the services she provides.
She also believes in giving back to the community and has been an active volunteer for many years. First, it was with causes her children were closely associated with like hockey and scouts and it has branched out from there over the years, as they’ve grown.
