Strathroy-Caradoc Council recently held discussions regarding the increasing presence of electric scooters within the municipality. With their growing popularity, councillors raised concerns about safety, as well as the use of roadways and sidewalks where the scooters are commonly operated.
Recognizing the need for further review, Council referred the matter to the Traffic Committee. The committee has been tasked with researching the issue in greater detail and preparing a report with recommendations, which will be presented to Council at a future meeting for consideration.
