Denning’s Funeral Home in Strathroy celebrated their 100th Anniversary over the weekend with a busy open house that attracted hundreds of people. Many were drawn in by some very cool antique ambulances and hearses that were on display.
myFM caught up with co-owner and Funeral Director Bill Denning.
The 5 generation funeral home had its first location in Strathroy downtown where Back Alley Burrito is now and moved to the current spot in 1936.
Denning says the next generation is already very involved in the business.
Denning says hundreds of people attended the open house on Saturday and they hope they can continue to serve this great community for another hundred years.
